Impressed by what you’ve been reading on ukboxingpress.co.uk? Do you fancy a challenge? Why not join the UKBP team?
We’re on the lookout for passionate reporters from all over the UK who are interested in attending shows, penning previews, submitting news stories and contributing interesting feature articles.
Since going live in October, ukboxingpress.co.uk have provided a fresh and forthright view of the British Boxing scene. Our talented team are not afraid to state their opinions, write honest and thought provoking copy and are not motivated by securing press credentials alone.
In short, we want to make a difference!
If you would like to join the team and contribute to this exciting venture, please contact Ben Carey in the first instance at benjcarey@yahoo.co.uk.
Experience would help but is by no means essential. Two of our finest reporters, Sam Doleman and Suzanne Nield, had no prior reporting experience before joining the team.
So, don’t just sit there, get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,
Just checking out your site and saw the ‘write for us’ page. I have a little experience at writing in a different field, having had several feature articles published in specialist industry mags – Legal Week, Insurance Times, Compliance Online etc. I trained at St Mary’s ABC in Aberdeen in my younger days although never boxed competitively. My son was a schoolboy boxer and boxed for Northolt ABC and Dale Youth ABC in London where clubmates and sparring partners included notable names such as John O’Donnell and ‘Chunky’ James Degale.
Look forward to hearing from you…
Regards,
Steve
